When a family comes to us with a specific theme, motif, or idea, we can create a design around it. Once we know the details of the room, the ceiling, the walls, and the event layout, we can discuss the possibilities in a very practical way.
The best approach is often to meet for a consultation at the venue itself. Looking at the actual room allows us to decide where the décor should go, what scale will work, and how to make the design fit the theme beautifully.

Yes. We create custom balloon sculptures with Jewish symbols, including Stars of David, Torah designs, menorahs, and other themed elements.
In our portfolio, you can see examples of both smaller and larger pieces. Some designs may be around 6 feet tall, depending on the style, while others can be much larger.
One of the largest pieces we ever created was a huge menorah for an event at the old Boston Convention Center. It was approximately 25 feet high and about 40 feet wide. That was many years ago, before digital cameras, so unfortunately we no longer have the photo, but it remains one of the most memorable large-scale pieces we have created.

The design is reviewed until you feel comfortable that it is both age-appropriate and upscale for your event. We can show examples, explain the scale and style, and if needed, even create a mockup so you can clearly understand what we are planning.

Yes. This is one of the most interesting and creative parts of our work.
When a room has a strong character, unusual architecture, special lighting, or existing décor, we do not want to ignore it. We want the balloon design to belong in that space.
For more serious or unusual projects, we usually go to the venue, look at the actual room, and decide on-site what will work best. Then we present the client with ideas — often two or three possible directions — so the client can choose the option they like best or combine parts of different ideas into the final design.

Setup time depends on the complexity of the décor and the number of people working on the installation.
For very large events, setup can take many hours. When we decorated the grand opening of the MCI Arena in Washington, we worked close to 24 hours. We have also done major fundraising events with large-scale décor that required nearly a full day of preparation.
On the other hand, we have also completed smaller installations in very short time windows. In one case, we had only about one hour between the previous party and our event, so we brought a large enough team to complete the work within that time.
In general, we prefer not to accept setup windows shorter than two hours whenever possible. When there is very little time, even a small problem — a locked entrance, an elevator delay, a power issue, or a loading problem — can create serious pressure. The best protection against those problems is having enough setup time.
If it is absolutely necessary, we can sometimes work within a very short window, but that extra hour often makes the difference between a stressful setup and a smooth one.

In many cases, we can design the décor so it is easy to move from one area to another. Some decorations cannot realistically be moved, but if moving the décor is part of the plan, we can choose structures and objects that are designed for that purpose.
The key is to know this ahead of time, so we can build the décor in a way that makes movement practical and safe.
