Balloons USA designs and installs balloon decor for bar and bat mitzvahs in Boston and across New England: entrance arches, photo walls with the name, dance floor and ceiling installations, themed centerpieces and large sculptures. Every design is made for your venue and installed by our own crew. Minimum order is from $500 and up in the Boston area, plus a $100 setup and delivery fee.
What We Build for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs
Photo walls with the name. A balloon wall with the name or the date, where every guest and every group of friends takes a picture. It is the piece families ask for most.
Entrance arches and columns. An arch or a pair of columns at the entrance sets the theme before guests walk into the room.
Dance floor and ceiling. Suspended clusters or a balloon ceiling over the dance floor turn the party room into a different space once the lights go down.
Themed installations. Sports, music, travel, the seasons or the colors the teen chose. We build the theme into the wall, the arch and the tables so the room reads as one design.
Centerpieces. Low centerpieces for family tables and taller pieces for the kids' tables and the bar.
Large sculptures. For bigger celebrations, freestanding balloon sculptures built around the theme.

Working With Your Venue
We work in hotels, banquet halls, synagogue social halls, country clubs and private homes. We coordinate setup times with the venue and your planner, provide a certificate of insurance whenever the venue asks for one, and our structures are free standing and do not damage walls or ceilings. Indoors, in an air conditioned room, an installation holds its shape for about a week, so a day-before setup is not a problem.

Every celebration is quoted individually, because the price depends on the pieces you choose, their size, the materials and how they are installed. Our minimum order is from $500 and up in the Boston area and from $1,000 and up in New York City, plus a $100 setup and delivery fee. Prices are the same on weekdays and weekends. Teardown is optional and costs $200 as a standard service.

Yes. We create custom balloon sculptures with Jewish symbols, including Stars of David, Torah designs, menorahs, and other themed elements.

For very large events, setup can take many hours. When we decorated the grand opening of the MCI Arena in Washington, we worked close to 24 hours. We have also done major fundraising events with large-scale décor that required nearly a full day of preparation.
On the other hand, we have also completed smaller installations in very short time windows. In one case, we had only about one hour between the previous party and our event, so we brought a large enough team to complete the work within that time.
In general, we prefer not to accept setup windows shorter than two hours whenever possible. When there is very little time, even a small problem — a locked entrance, an elevator delay, a power issue, or a loading problem — can create serious pressure. The best protection against those problems is having enough setup time.
