Frequently Asked Questions About Pricing
Why don't you publish a price list?
Because we are a design studio, not a catalog of standard balloon pieces.
Most clients know the look or feeling they want, but they shouldn't have to know exactly what type or size of installation will work best in their space. An arch that looks beautiful in one room may make another room feel crowded. Since we build our own frames, we are not limited to small, medium and large: we design each piece to fit the space.
The location can also completely change the installation. An arch standing indoors may be relatively simple. Exactly the same arch outdoors in a windy location may require heavy bases, additional supports, or secure attachment structures built specifically for the location. That means more work, a different price, and, most importantly, a safe installation.
And with custom sculptures and one of a kind installations, a standard price list often is not possible at all.
That is why we prefer to see photos of the space and ask a few questions before recommending a design and giving you a price. For larger projects, we can also visit the venue. Often we can suggest something that works better, sometimes for less money, or something much more impressive within the same budget.
If you already know exactly what you want, that is fine too. Our job is to make sure you know your options and get a result you will be happy with.
How do I get a price?
Usually, all it takes is a short phone conversation. Tell us about your event, where it will be, and what you have in mind. We will ask a few questions about the space, timing, access, and installation, and in most cases we can give you a price right away.
A photo of the space is very helpful. If your event is at a hotel, restaurant, or other venue, you can often find a photo of the room on their website, just send us the photo or a link. If we need to see a particular area of the room, we may ask you for an additional photo.
For larger or more unusual installations, we may suggest visiting the venue, but most jobs can be discussed and priced quickly over the phone.
A short conversation helps us catch the little details that are easy to miss in emails or texts. We do not want any surprises on the day of the job.
What is included, and what costs extra?
Your quote will show the price of the balloon decor, plus a $100 setup and delivery fee.
Teardown is usually not necessary. Most clients simply pop the balloons themselves after the event, and at children's parties, popping the balloons can actually become part of the fun.
If you would rather have us come back and remove everything, we offer teardown service for $200. This is especially useful for corporate events, venues, or situations where no one wants to deal with cleanup afterward.
Can you work to a budget?
Absolutely. In fact, that is often the best way to work with us. Tell us your budget, show us the space, and tell us what you want the event to feel like. You do not need to know whether you need an arch, a wall, columns, or something else, that is our job.
We will look at the room and suggest the best use of the money you have available. Usually, we will give you two or three different ideas within your budget, and you can choose the one you like best.
A budget gives us a framework for deciding where your money will have the most impact. Sometimes the best use of it is one spectacular focal point, sometimes it is better to spread the budget across the room with many smaller elements that create an overall atmosphere.
How far in advance should I call?
As soon as you know you may need us. You do not need to have the design figured out, know your exact budget, or even have all the event details finalized. If you know the date, call us and reserve it.
We can handle multiple events in one day, but every date has a limit. Once our crews are fully booked, we cannot take another event no matter how simple the order may be. For the actual preparation, we usually need about three days, or four to five during peak season. But availability, not preparation time, is the main reason to call early.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes. We are fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance to your venue at no additional charge.
Ready to talk about your event?
Call us as soon as the idea comes to mind, or send a request through the form on this page. If you know your date, venue, budget, and have photos, great, it will speed things up. If not, get in touch anyway. Helping you figure it out is part of what we do, and calling early helps secure your date.
