WOW! Balloons USA designs and installs balloon ceiling decor in Boston and across New England: suspended clusters over dance floors, balloon clouds in ballrooms and atriums, hanging installations over bars and stages, and ceiling decor inside tents. Ceiling decor changes how a whole room feels without taking any floor space from guests. Minimum order is from $500 and up in the Boston area, plus a $100 setup and delivery fee.
Why Decorate the Ceiling
In a large room the ceiling is the biggest empty surface. Guests do not notice it until something is there, and then it becomes part of every wide photo. A ceiling installation makes a ballroom feel more intimate, gives a tent a finished look and turns a dance floor into the center of the party. Because nothing stands on the floor, it works in rooms where tables, a stage and a dance floor already take every square foot.
What We Build
Suspended clusters. Groups of balloons hanging at different heights over the dance floor, the bar or the head table.
Tent ceilings. Clusters and garlands along the tent frame for weddings and outdoor celebrations.
Balloon clouds. Dense organic installations that cover part of the ceiling, often with smaller balloons, stars or other accents worked in.
Hanging accents over bars and stages. Smaller pieces that mark the focal points of the room.
Combined designs. Ceiling decor that continues an arch, a column or a balloon wall, so the room reads as one design from the floor up.
How Ceiling Installations Are Mounted
Every venue has its own rules about the ceiling, so we check them before we design anything. Mounting depends on the ceiling height, the structure and what the venue allows. High ceilings are installed from a lift. We coordinate access, setup time and equipment with the venue and the planner in advance, and we provide a certificate of insurance whenever the venue asks for one.
Colors and Finishes
We match your palette or your brand colors and work with matte, pearl, chrome and metallic balloons, confetti balloons and foil shapes such as stars. When a shade has to be matched precisely, we use double stuffing, one balloon placed inside another, to get the exact tone.
How Much Does Balloon Ceiling Decor Cost in Boston?
Ceiling installations are quoted individually. The price depends on the area you want covered, the density of the design, the ceiling height and how the decor has to be mounted. A few clusters under a standard ceiling are simple. A dense cloud over a ballroom installed from a lift takes more time, more material and a larger crew.
Our minimum order is from $500 and up in the Boston area and from $1,000 and up in New York City, plus a $100 setup and delivery fee. Prices are the same on weekdays and weekends. Teardown is optional and costs $200 as a standard service; for ceiling installations in venues that must be cleared the same night, we schedule it in advance.
How to Get a Quote
Send us:
- the date and the venue,
- photos of the room and the ceiling,
- the ceiling height, if you know it,
- the area you want decorated and your colors.
For larger installations we may ask for a floor plan or arrange a site visit.
Send us your date, venue and a photo of the ceiling, and we will suggest a design and a price.

Yes. Clusters and garlands along the tent frame are a common choice for weddings and outdoor celebrations.
Indoors, in an air conditioned room, an installation holds its shape for about a week. Outdoors and in tents, plan for one day and keep balloons out of direct sunlight.
