A balloon garland is a flowing, organic line of balloons in mixed sizes that follows the shape of your space. Unlike an arch, it does not need to stand on its own: it runs along a wall, frames a doorway, wraps a staircase railing, drapes over a bar or climbs a corner. That makes it the most flexible piece of decor we build.

What a balloon garland looks like
A garland is built from balloons of different sizes, usually in three to five shades, placed in a free, natural rhythm rather than a repeating pattern. Specialty balloons add texture: chrome and metallic finishes, confetti balloons, matte and pearl tones, and oversized accent balloons.
Flowers can be worked into any garland, fresh or artificial. So can lighting, either small LED lights placed inside the balloons or color changing spotlights aimed at the installation.
Where garlands work best
Behind a head table, a bar, a dessert table or a stage.
Around a doorway or an entrance frame.
Along a staircase railing, following the diagonal.
Across a wall as a photo backdrop.
Along the edge of a ceiling or a beam.

In rooms with low ceilings a garland is the better choice over an arch, because it does not add a horizontal element overhead.

Garlands are priced individually, because the price depends on the length, the number of shades, the amount of specialty balloons and how the garland has to be mounted. A garland running along a flat wall is simple. The same garland suspended from a high ceiling or wrapped around a railing takes longer and needs more hardware.
Our minimum order in the Boston area is $500, and $1,000 in New York City. Setup and delivery is $100 on top. Prices are the same on weekdays and weekends.

How long does a balloon garland last?
Indoors, in an air conditioned room, a garland stays in good shape for about a week, sometimes two.
Outdoors it depends on the weather. A garland should not stand in direct sunlight, because the balloons are likely to pop in the heat. We recommend shade. Even in shade, plan an outdoor garland for one day: morning dew makes the balloons lose elasticity and the first strong sun burns them.
Can you match our colors?
Yes. We match event palettes and brand colors, and combine latex balloons with foil balloons in special shapes, letters and numbers. For corporate events we can add a logo on an accent balloon.
How to order a balloon garland

2. Send a photo of the space, or schedule a site visit with Mike.
3. We recommend the length, the palette and the placement, and give you the price.
4. You confirm the date with a deposit.
5. Our crew installs the garland on site before your guests arrive.
We usually need about three days to prepare an order. Call as soon as you know your event date, even if the design is not decided yet. Once another client books that day, we may not be able to take a second event.
