Our normal turnaround time can be very short — often about 3–4 days — and in true emergencies we have sometimes handled same-day requests. But availability is the real issue. If the day and time you need are already taken, they are gone.
The best first step is simple: call us or send us a note as soon as you know you are considering our services. We can reserve the date for you first, and then you will still have time to think, choose, change details, and ask questions.

Yes, we do.
Most of our work is in the Boston area, but we have also served clients much farther away, including New York, Albany, and even Washington, D.C.
If a client is willing to cover the setup and delivery fee, we can travel. Usually, long-distance work makes the most sense for larger projects, because then the travel and setup cost becomes more reasonable in relation to the overall job.

Our usual minimum is around $500, but it is not written in stone.
Sometimes a slightly smaller order may be possible. At the same time, very small professional installations often do not make financial sense for the customer, because setup, travel, and preparation are still involved.
If we feel that professional service is not the best use of your budget, we will honestly tell you and may suggest how you can create a smaller decoration yourself without paying for a full professional installation.

Installation time depends entirely on the size and complexity of the décor, the venue access window, and the size of the team needed for the job.
A small restaurant setup may need to be completed in one hour between parties. A large grand opening or major venue installation may require many hours, or even most of a day. In some cases, we can build parts of the décor off-site and bring them by truck, but then we also need to consider practical details such as door sizes, elevators, loading areas, and whether the pieces can physically fit into the space.
All of these questions are discussed during the consultation and preparation stage. We do not take orders and then “discover” later that the timing will not work. Before we sign the contract, we make sure the plan is realistic and that the décor can be completed on time.

Yes. A consultation is not only available — it is an important part of the process.
Before we decide what to create, we need to understand your event, your venue, the ceiling height, room size, access time, setup limitations, and any venue rules. Some balloon structures can be created quickly, while others require more time and preparation.
What we really sell is not just balloons. We sell our experience and knowledge of how to make the decoration work under real event conditions. Over 35 years, we have dealt with fire alarms during setup, unexpected room changes, limited access windows, TV crews stopping work because of compressor noise, and many other surprises.
The purpose of the consultation is to make sure that what we promise can actually be done — and done on time. By the time you arrive for your event, the décor should be ready.

Changes are welcome whenever they are still possible.
If you need to make adjustments, we will do whatever we reasonably can. The answer depends on what kind of change you need and how close we are to the event. For example, if the event is first thing Monday morning and the requested change comes on Sunday, many suppliers may be closed, so some materials may not be available.
But if the change is possible, we will always try to help.

Yes. Most of our décor is air-filled, not helium-filled.
Because of the helium shortage in recent years, we have largely moved away from helium. Our balloon décor usually does not float up, block airways, interfere with air conditioning, or rise into ceilings.
We also discuss venue rules before the event and plan the installation accordingly.

We look at the situation carefully. The biggest question is whether we have a team available for that specific time.
If the team is available, a last-minute job is often just another job. If it is a weekday and suppliers are open, we can usually get what we need, although sometimes at a higher cost. If it is a weekend, we may need to work with what is already in our warehouse or what can be found locally.
In more difficult situations, we may call in additional people or subcontractors. Over the years, we have usually found a way to help, unless the request is very small, the timing is impossible, or the team is already fully booked. Last-minute work can often be done, but it may cost more than an order placed with normal preparation time.

A party supply store sells balloons. We create custom decorations made out of balloons.
It is like the difference between a store that sells bricks and a company that builds castles. A castle may be made from bricks, but it is not just a pile of bricks.
We do not simply sell balloon products. We come to the space, figure out what will work, design the right structure, solve the installation problems, and create something custom for the event. Party stores are in a different business. We build “castles” out of balloons.

Yes, if you need that service.
As of now, our takedown service is typically $150. We come back, remove the décor, and leave the room clean.
However, for many private events, professional cleanup is not always necessary. Guests — especially children — often love popping balloons at the end of the party. If that fits your event, it can become part of the fun.
For more formal events, corporate events, venues with strict rules, or situations where you do not have people available to clean up, we are happy to return and handle the breakdown.

We use professional-quality latex balloons made from natural rubber latex, a plant-based material.
We do not support balloon releases. Our décor is installed for events and should be removed and disposed of responsibly after use.

Yes, in most cases we can match the color palette very closely.
The balloon industry offers many colors and shades — for example, light blue, dark blue, robin’s egg blue, midnight blue, and many others. For most events, this is more than enough to create the right look and match the theme beautifully.
If an exact custom shade is needed, we can sometimes create it by using a double-balloon technique, where one balloon is placed inside another to soften or change the color. For example, placing a white balloon inside a yellow balloon can create a much softer, more delicate shade. This takes extra time and costs more, but it gives us more control when a very specific color is required.

The only way to get a real price quote is to have a conversation with us.
Balloon décor is not priced only by the name of the item, such as “an arch” or “two columns.” The same event can require very different solutions depending on the room, ceiling height, entrance, outdoor conditions, available support points, setup time, and the overall goal of the decoration.
For example, an indoor event may allow us to suspend décor from the ceiling, while an outdoor event may require a free-standing structure. A large arch may be perfect outside, but impossible or unnecessary inside a room with a low ceiling. These details affect both the design and the price.
During the consultation, we discuss the event, the venue, your wishes, your budget, and the best way to use that budget. This is one of the most important parts of our service: helping you spend the money where it will create the strongest visual impact.

Yes, absolutely.
If you are working with an event planner, that often makes the process easier and faster because planners understand the event business and know what details matter.
We also communicate directly with venue contacts when needed. It is very helpful to have the name and phone number of someone at the venue before we begin final planning. Venues may have special rules about loading areas, setup times, ceiling attachments, entrances, elevators, or where décor can and cannot be placed.
When we know those rules ahead of time, everything becomes much easier.
For more serious decoration projects, we often recommend or require a walkthrough. If the client can meet us at the venue, that is ideal. If not, we can sometimes go ourselves, call the client from the venue, and discuss the space by video while looking at walls, ceilings, entrances, and possible decoration points.
